Storm Master Gutters Helps Dulles South Food Pantry Build a New Space
The following is a letter from Meg Phillips, Executive Director of Dulles South Food Pantry, Inc.
The year of 2021 was transformative for the Dulles South Food Pantry and we cannot begin to express how deeply thankful we are for your generosity.
Our new space is modern and efficient, allowing us to better serve guests and providing a comfortable working environment for our staff and volunteers. It truly is amazing the impact the renovation has had on operations, efficiency and morale. In 2021, we distributed 533,666 pounds of food to our neighbors in need, almost 50,000 pounds more than in 2020. We can’t wait to see what 2022 brings with our increased capacity.
Thank you to Storm Masters Gutters not only for your donated materials and services, but for your commitment to our project and support of our mission of “Neighbors Feeding Neighbors”. Every day we are blessed to be able to serve those in need and to see the humanity and generosity of those who want to help.
We hope you will be able to attend our Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and see the glorious new space you helped build. As soon as our new walk in refrigeration units arrive, we will schedule the ceremony, so please be on the look out for the invitation.
Never could we have dreamed that such a change was possible. Please know that the impact you have made is profound and will have lasting impact well into the future.
With our deepest gratitude,
Meg, Robin, Karen, Amy, Trish and Jen
